Time to get signed up for our "Team of the Week" Baseball contest, sponsored by HOLLYWOOD SPORTSBOOK, and courtesy of BucsfanInc (for all your contest needs)..:drink:
Rules to enter......
1. This contest is for ELIGIBLE RX POSTERS who have 50 posts or more as of this date......
2. Entry deadline will be Friday, April 1st......
3. Entry fee is 200.00 to be eligible for prizes, funds are yours to play with (5x rollover)
4. When making your deposit, you must email Bj@hollywoodsportsbook.com and bew47710@aol.com with your rx posting handle, to be eligible from that deposit...
5. I will have a list, and update it every couple of days, so that we know how many players we have....( please remember, we had a huge turnout for our "gettin to know ya" NBA contest, and many were shut out that wanted in...We can allow as many as sign up for this one, and every extra person we get in, increases the prizes....However i ask that you please not wait til the last minute to sign up, because if everyone does that, then people will shy away thinking there arent gonna be alot of players, then we get to last 2 days and everyone is trying to get in)
*** AS A SPECIAL BONUS FOR RX CONTEST PLAYERS ONLY, ANYONE WHO SENDS IN 500.00 OR MORE FOR THEIR ENTRY WILL NOT ONLY GET THE REGULAR 10% CASH BONUS, THEY WILL ALSO GET A 10% (SEASON TOTAL WINS WAGER) OF THEIR CHOICE TO GO IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CONTEST....
Hollywood offers a .10 cent line on bases up to -190, so no reason not to use them as an out , and take advantage of the "extra" offer.....BJ has also agreed to add normal bonuses (normal restrictions apply) to all funds sent in, even for the entry fee to the contest....
Hollywood will be adding 200.00 into the prize fund for every poster that enters, and once we see how many we have, we will decide how the prize fund will be divied up.....I am hoping for at least 40 players, giving us 8000.00 in prizes....We will have 5 "monthly" winners where we give the top 3 (300-200-100), and then have 5000.00 left for the overall winners where we can award the top 5 finishers some good $$$$$$....
We had more than 40 that wanted in the NBA contest, so if we get more, we can have bigger prizes, or pay more spots, so we have more winners......This is a great opportunity to have some fun, and make some $$$$$$, thanks to Hollywood Sportsbook......
As usual, i assume there will be many questions, i will try and anticipate a few, but if u have more, please ask....Also, please let us know here when u have sent your funds...once people see there are some getting in, then they will join as well......its like a snowball effect.....So even though we have a month to get in, I hope everyone doesnt wait til the last week.....Get those funds in for March Madness......
Q. If i already have an account at Hollywood, and its funded, do i have to send in more funds?....Yes you do....Even though there is no entry fee, the benefit for doing this for Hollywood, is new deposits, so you would still need to send 200.00 additional at least, and those funds are (5x rollover) and they make you eligible for the prizes...

I dont have an account at Hollywood, what do i do?.....Go to the link at the top of this page, click to HollywoodSportsbook, and signup online for an account....Once u have created it, and are ready to deposit, contact BJ, and he will help with any questions you might have...The guy is great with helping our players, and is ALWAYS accessible, so that makes it nice...
Q. I would like to enter the contest, but am not sure i will always be around to make my selections for the week, can i still enter?....Yes, i will start the thread at the beginning of the week for the following week, and you will have til MIDNIGHT on Sunday night each week to get your team in....If you are going to be gone for more than a week, you can alert me in the contest forum, of your pick ahead of time, and i will get it into the thread...
Q. What if i get a "bad team" , are my chances of winning anything shot?....No, this is not a "drawn team", you select the team you want for each week, based on who they play, and who is pitching, there is a lot of strategy involved.....Its not a simple case of picking the best teams, cuz u can only use each team once, therefore the strategy is to get the most out of each team, on a given week.....the contest runs 20 weeks, therefore you will have to use some mediocre teams, its inevitable.....(just ask the people int he nba contest, down to the end, and now people are having to use Utah, Atlanta, Charlotte, ) teams that arent so good....Makes for good strategy....
As i stated above, hoping to get at least 40, and based on the interest when we first mentioned this, we should, and therefore we can have some REALLY NICE PRIZES for this contest.......
Hollywood is a reduced juice book, with great customer service, and a solid reputation, so if you arent already playing there, this is a GREAT TIME to try them out, and play in our contest with us...
