UNLV, any chance for tourney bid ?

I don't follow CBB closely. I'm asking for a friend. I did bet them tonight -1 -114, but took back +2.5 -104 on NM for half the bet. No great middle, but good enough. It was RAS sports freebie pick, so I expected a middle to develop.

I don't cap CBB, just follow a few guys like Kapusta, OMT, Shrink, Fezzik, Sherwood, and RAS for the free month. It sounds like a bunch of guys, but they pick few games. I don't take worse lines.

no ncaa tourney for unlv. I thought they might've had a chance last year with Marcus Banks and JK Edwards, but they didn't make it. This year's team is much worse.

Probably not, but who knows. They are the hottest team in a very weak conference. I think they have been a victim of a new coach this year. He has no feel for who he should have out there because its a crapshoot guessing who the hot hand will be any given night. Beck mailed in a lot of games early on, now he comes off the bench and is as good as advertised. Blassingame is either turning it over 8 times or getting 8 assists. Incredibly inconsistent team that got consistent last couple of weeks. Good enough to even win the MWC if they come ready and play well each game. Utah probably will give nothing during the tourney, they have little to play for it would appear.

They aren't the hottest team in the conference, that goes to New Mexico who beat them solidly last night and also beat Utah last week. They get 2 teams in, Utah and New Mexico..

They WERE the hottest team. Lobos beat them soundly, but I am doubting they get in without getting to the MWC finals.

Can't see the Rebels getting in. Even the Lobos who were clearly superior last night need to win their remaining regular season games and then get to the conference tournament finals and probably win it just to get in. The Lobos strength of schedule is ranked 293rd. Utah is probably in whether or not they win the MWC Championship or not. Therefore, only see Utah and New Mexico at best.

UNLV getting a tourney bid ? Yes, if you are talking about a bid to play in the Mountain West Tourney but that is about it ! This is just not a very good Basketball team IMO:sad3:
