Lived in Florida all of my life and only attended one game in Winter Haven when my buddy pitched for the Red Sox about 15 years ago before blowing out his rotator cuff. Although I played baseball in school, I just cannot get into it as a spectator.......

Was down in Fla for Spring Training in late 90's. Had a blast, except for watching at the Texas stadium as the sand fleas were terrible. They were very thick and allover.

Spring training is March Madness for me.

Baseball is by far my favorite sport.

Don't worry Linz, it won't belong until you can watch the real thing at The Stadium.

Going to Disney to catch Braves/Cards and then across town to see Astros/Nationals later this month. Can't wait ! OB

BTW> a spring training site I like is: http://www.springtrainingonline.com/
great summaries of the florida baseball sites, fields, etc.

For those of us on the other side of the country, here is a good link to Cactus League games.

I hope to see the Angels play a couple times this year along with ASU baseball games.

I'll be at the Devil Rays/Navy game tomorrow (is it on the board?) because of a previous affiliation with the Naval Academy. I should be in Sarasota for the Reds/Red Sox on Saturday as well. I'll work up next week's schedule later in the week.

I was thinking of going to AZ this weekend, but it is supposed to be rainy and cool. Was going to hit the Suns game also, but sold out and not having much luck finding tickets. Looks like double jeopardy there...

Many teams in the Tampa Bay area

We have the Yankees, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Philies, Royals, and I believe some others within driving distance. It's great! Are you planning to get to any games in the area? I could grab the FishHead and make an afternoon of it.
