Earlier today I replied in a thread by Dimeplayersonly regarding the Shrink and his relationship to Offshore advertisers at this site. I feel that both an apology and clarification is appropriate.
First, I would like to apologize directly to Ken, the General, and all of the moderators as I feel the words that I chose directly offended them and that was not my intention. Normally, I am careful when trying to discuss an issue, but in this case, I went too far and for that, I am deeply regretful.
The issue I was trying to address, but did so rather poorly, was that when the RX chooses to accept an Offshore Sportsbook as an advertiser, a fine line must be walked between the position of The Prescription in support of the new advertiser and being sure that the player's are fully informed and adequately protected and their trust not be jeopardized before any decision is made to deposit funds. Each of us is ultimately responsible for where we decide to post up funds. But we are all influenced in some manner by what we learn and read from sources we respect. In knowing that, our RX people of influence have a very important responsibility, which I believe they take seriously but are in a very difficult position and one not easily travelled. It is not unlike other positions in the working sector where many must sign "conflict of interest" forms as they work with companies they are vested in but must remain impartial in the decisions they make.
My words were chosen poorly and it was not my intention to imply that that Ken, The General, Wilheim, Dante, Journeyman, Fishead, Bucsfan or anyone else has done anything wrong. I am not personally aware of any such thing and certainly do not wish to imply any such thing either. It is with my deepest regrets that my words were chosen poorly and may have offended those above. I am deeply saddened by what I have done today. As I always do, I will sign off by wishing each and everyone of you all my best wishes and hope for your forgiveness.
My sincerest apologies...................Ted
