The refs favored the home team more than Fox News favors Bush.

Personally, I think this conference is the worst in terms of officiating. Tonight was just another example. Both teams got screwed on a number of calls. It's too bad that games come down to situations like this.

If you thought the Refs were one sided.... you must have been listening to the one sided commentating. Must had had a big Money line bet on Indiana ! LOL

Unfortunately, there is no way to remedy the referee situation in college basketball. But there is a way to deal with announcers. Watch games on mute. Very rare when I have the sound turned up on my TVs during the night.

Try watching a Duke home game and you will see this happen on a weekly basis. Agree though that officiating was terrible.

I did not gamble on the game and I must admit I did not see all of it. The non-calls near the end of the game were ridiculous though.

Agreed ! However, the commentating were way more one sided than the Refs Homer attitude !

I don't agree that the refs handed this game to Wisconsin. There was definitely a blown call, on that hard collision under Indiana's basket that was a no call. But Wilkinson got fouled with one second left. It was a good no-call, but it was a foul. That would have been the easy way to give Wisconsin the game, if that's what you think they were up to. I think you guys expect too much out of these refs. I used to umpire baseball, and even did some D1 games. I know what it's like to be in their situation, and it's a tough job. Coaches can make mistakes, but still be good coaches. Players can make mistakes, but still be good players. But referees are never allowed that luxury. They have to be perfect, or they are either a) horseshiit or b)cheaters with money on the game.

Illini,
Great points but Mike Davis will make many mistakes and will never be called a good coach. He has talent on that team and continues to coach his way out of games. I have no idea why he insists on running that slow down offense when they clearly play better at a faster pace.
