An anniversary is approaching of an event that will certainly warrant more than a passing mention when someone finally writes the definitive history of sports betting. The 20th anniversary of Black Tuesday, the day that Regulation 6A went into effect, is set for May 7.

Good article. Been lots of black "days" in the last 20 years, that was just the first of many. That one was a Feds move, after that the moves were mostly self-inflicted gunshots by either regulators or the books/casinos themselves.
