Whichever ones are thinking along this line.

Let's go with loyalty bonuses instead or no bonuses period.

Thanks

General does not speak for me on this issue......

I don't get why you guys are against bonuses.....

For example, I recently deposited into Hollywood and got a 10% bonus and -107 juice........very happy with that!

Bonuses will stay. They may not be as generous, but initial bonuses will remain. Pinny's way is good. Skybook, Oly, etc. have gotten tighter, but others will retain it. It's expected.

Bonuses are okay, but i'll take reduced juice of any amount over bonuses. More reduced juice please! Higher limits would be nice too.

I strongly disagree. I like the way Greek does things. Periodic bonuses all year long. Eg Super Bowl, March Madness, NFL pre-season, etc.

Cmon, you really can't compare a 20%, $500 sign up bonus to some loyalty points that add up to a free t-shirt or a $50 parlay.

Bonuses are the way to go.

With you on this too Sherman.

Bonuses are very acceptable to me as long as they are not overly outrageous to not believe.

LONG LIVE BONUSES, AS I HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR YEARS.

Mansion doesn't offer a bonus - and I don't care - I love them. If getting rid of bonuses at a book meant they would go to -109, -108, -107 or whatever instead... i'll take the reduced juice.

Again, bonuses do not ruin a sportsbook. A nice 10-20% every couple times a year, and on sign up is not going to crash a book. Bad management, no knowledge, and undercapaitalized will do it quicker.

Face, bonuses will always be around. That is how they attract more clients.

Let all the books stop paying bonuses and I will open up a book with my millions. Watch out.

General, cmon dude! Books can well afford to give up front bonuses for new business or for a loser to re up. Post up customers are cheap compared to the 50% agent fees associated with credit.

Where did I state they couldn't afford it?
(No bonuses = 50% reduction in pay disputes.) :toast:

I believe in:

a) A signup bonus: a bonus to get the guy through the door. A signup bonus gives people a reason to check you out - that is why even Pinny has a signup bonus.

b) A reload bonus (but only if you lost your entire deposit from last time): If a guy drops a dime and now wants to send in another dime, what is wrong with giving him a 10% re-up bonus? It's almost like a rebate on losses or commision to an agent, isn' it?

Why do books want to become the Salvation Army and hand out t-shirts that say "SPORTSBOOK AND CASINO" that we need to hide from our wives:icon_conf ?

The thing is that you cannot rely on bonuses to KEEP punters. After you get them in the door, you need to have other things to keep them there. Quick payouts, quick grading of plays, good customer service, unique props etc will keep a guy from leaving.

There has to be something EXTRA to keep a punter, but the bonus is the only way to get a guy who has never tried your shop.
