I'd imagine there was always heavy action on Bulls games.....

Were the lines often highly inflated due to Jordan?
Did the Bulls "cover" the lines most of the times?

When Bulls played really crap teams were the lines like -14 all the time???

i lost quite a bit betting on the bulls in the jordan era. of course, that is before i knew what i was doing and never shopped around for the best line. i did win a pretty large bet on the series with utah. believe it or not, the jazz was favored to win that series with the bullies. i think i got +120 or something.

jw...good to see you here again. you should post more often.

Betters had a big disadvantage, there wasnt no Donbest. there wasnt any Computers. tickets were hand written. most bookies would pay for a service. the East coast had the bet line back in those days. REMEMBER I am talking about Jordan early in his career. BOOKIES had a field day back in those good old days.

You had alot more two way business back in those days. these days alot of bookies over move lines trying to get a buy back. the market was so much better. local bookies didnt have to run all over town to collect. credit players paid like clock work. its so hard to collect from a credit player these days. post up is the only way to go in these days.

Why is collecting from a credit player so much harder these days?

RIVERBOATS, they have ruin alot of Bookies. I just recently talked to a guy I worked for many years ago, and the first thing I asked him was how was he doing booking, he said you dont want to know, he said its tougher than nails to collect money these days. I knew that before I even talked to him about it.

Also, I had a friend two years ago that owned a finance company, had to get out the business because he couldnt collect hardly no money, all because of the RIVERBOATS.

Also OTB PARLORS, LOTTERY. they didnt have none of that years ago. even though years ago a dollar was a dollar. we never hardly had collection problems.
