Emergency Information...

Just curious if people take any precaution with their sportsbook information(balances,account numbers..etc) if they find themselves traveling. I'm traveling this weekend without the wife and am now compiling a list of accounts,phone numbers,balances,account id's and passwords to leave for the wife just in case something were to happen.

How difficult a time do you think books would give a spouse trying to cash in accounts if they didn't have every little detail(favorite color, first pet's name..etc !) about the account ?

I'm hopeful I'll be back Sunday in one piece but I think it's wise to have all this information somewhere in case of an emergency.Just hope that when I come back the balances are all still there(or higher if she decides to make some wagers !!!!!) LOL

good idea for someone to know what you got going on..

i have a long time friend who knows where to find all my info incase i disappear for some reason.

he plays at a few of the same places and knows how to navigate the sites and neteller.

There was a thread about this a couple of weeks back i believe....

IMO, the best thing to do is to leave your account info with your significant other (if she knows you wager) If she doesn't, leave it with your closest friend (preferably someone who understands the offshore world a bit)

My situation...i have left a note in my golf bag (very safe...women never check there) and have told a friend that if something happens to me...go to the bag.

Here is a tidbit that I use when writing down my passwords.

I use ABBREVIATIONS of my password so nobody can ever access my accounts if my belongings are stolen.

For instance, say my password is shrinkwrap.........will just write down shrinkw.........and know what I mean.

Think this is a MUST if your traveling with your account numbers and passwords on the road.

You can also code or abbriviate your account numbers.........say your account is 2357........use one number up when traveling...........3468.

dav168, if something were to happen to you, then all your other half would need do is fax a death certificate to the book and they would send funds to her. Giving her the account info is good advice.
