that you start to feel sorry for them ? I mean just kill one book for awhile, even if not winning great overall, just all at one place. It's nice, they tend to get over it.

Yep....LasPalmas

Awesome book, even better CS. Beat them out of about 8K at 250 to a nickel a game & transferred the winnings elsewhere for better #'s.

Not only I blow it all in 2 weeks, the place it went to went belly up within the next 2.

Truly a shitty feeling

I have the opposite:

1. I have lost SO much with WSEX's interactive, I wish I could just win big once, tell them to take a hike and never play there again.

2. During football season and March Madness, I will make a few plays with my local just so he can get some volume. I don't regularly beat him and I don't lose either. I am just not interested in only taking his -110 line when I can pick and choose (and get bonuses) offshore - but I try to maintain a relationship by just making a couple of plays every now and then.

I beat a local back in 1983 for over 20 dimes 5 weeks in a row. Hottest streak I ever had. But he knew I'm a very streaky player. So he edged everything I played off with double action for himself, so together we hit good for a few weeks. NEVER felt sorry for anyone, hell they don't feel sorry for me when I get killed.

You are right! Who likes to talk bout negative things like losing big,?? People are only talking bout winning in this thread cause the question was asked! Show me a gambler who says they are up money after gambling for say 5 years and I'll show you a liar. I know there will be people chiming in saying they are up, but I doubt it highly.

It is steange how you can sometimes have a great streak with 1 book, while overall you are losing. Has happened on more than one occiasio to me. I don't feel bad for the Book, but rather maybe for the CS guy who might have gone out of his way to give me a bonus (either larger than I deserved or bent the rules to give me one). He then has to answer to someone why he gave out a bonus to a guy who beat them up.

It all usually evens out in the end though.

Uhhhhh ...I did that, didn't I?

... but I do agree, people generally want to talk about winning - that is what keeps them going. If a person only focused on his losing days he wouldn't be gambling anymore.

Carib has taken me for a lot. Not as much as Halifax, I think he posted that he went over 20 deposits without a w/d, but I did about 16 deposits and 2 withdrawals, and the withdrawals weren't that big.

Never. Sounds like being sorry for the lottery office after hitting the powerball.

I satrted a thread a few months ago about this subject. I almost felt emberrassed how much I was winning at this shop. Never have to deposit and timely regular withdrawls.
