Giambi would be like his brother -- sub-major-league caliber.

I hope all of these clowns end up in jail.

Jeremy? Jeremy wasn't that good to begin with...

McGwire hit 49 home runs his rookie year 1987, I seriously doubt he was juicing then...

His career was SERIOUSLY on decline in the mid 90's, to the point he almost retired before his incredible homerun tear once he went to the National League....

By looking back at mcGwire's career it appears he started using sometime around 1992-93...he was often injured during that time though so the impact wasn't really recognized with him until about 1995....Without the roid McGwire would have been done by about 1997...I am pretty sure of that...He even mentioned how he almost retired, he was batting in the low .200's he was never much of an average hitter, then all the sudden the guy's batting over 300 and knocking oout 60-70 bombs in the latter part of his career...

He's Dave Kingman off the juice.

Illegal possession of a controlled substance.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they can't go to jail NOW for saying they did steroids before.....I mean, if I called my local PD today and told them I smoked a blunt last night, they cannot arrest me.

The 'Lyle Azado like years' for McGwire , he must have really been on the juice bigtime in these 4 years....

1,993 At Bats ( that's a little over 3 years for a regular player, not injured often playing everyday) in 1,993 AB's he homered 245 times!

245 homeruns in 3 years worth of at bats!!! equivalent of homering 82 times a year!

That's homering once every 8 at bats:icon_conf

Comparing Bonds best "juice years" HR tear to McGwire best "juice years"

Mac 1993 AB's 245 Hr's
Bonds 2152 AB's 258 Hr's

Very similar :hump:

Off the juice projections 32 homeruns:howdy:

The Steroids Error

The probe linking Mark McGwire to steroids is the latest black eye for baseball. Buster Olney says the allegations could tarnish McGwire's legacy and add more evidence the late '80s until 2004 was the Steroids Era

about the time span of bonds career.

Anyone who believes that Mcgwire, Canseco, Bonds and the others that have been called out, are the only guys that used 'roids is in my mind not being realistic.

If you are a baseball player and you see what these drugs are doing for these guys and the money it is making them, can you honestly tell me that you would not have done them yourself?

Actually, if the Feds want to pursue it they can. They probably won't.

I met plenty of people in prison who were serving time for activities they had engaged in years before. The worst case of all was this one guy who used to sell marijuana. No accusations of guns or violence or anything like that, he was a medium sized dealer. He got 100% out of the business in 1983, went into real estate. He was living the square life.

In 1991, someone else got caught with 13 pounds of marijuana, they ratted on someone else to save their tail, who ratted on someone else to save their tail, who ratted on the man I am speaking about to save their tail. So the Feds went after him in 1991, he pointed out that they were past the statute of limitations. But they wanted names which he would not give them. So they said, "You're right, we are past the statute of limitations, however, you used someof the money you made back in 1983 les than 7 years ago. So we'll just charge you with money laundering and mention the marijuana at sentencing as a relvant conduct."

The man went to trial and lost. He got 22 years, heh's been in 13 now. His son was 1 year old when he went away.

Does this make sense to anyone? I'd like to believe it was an isolated incident but there are plenty of similar cases.
