They are in!

Then I predict they will perform like a TOM DAVIS coached team of yesteryear..............win ONE and DONE.

We shall see!

I do believe that ALFORD deserves to be the coach next season though............absolutely.

Thats impossible Viking - I thought the ACC was so tough and the Big 10 sucked. Well the Big 10 isn't that good, but maybe the ACC isn't either. Iowa has recovered nicely the last month and I feel they are in.

Iowa's in, but a 7-9 conference record will let other teams (like Indiana) say that got screwed over. This is going to be an interesting selection show. A lot of uncertainity amongst the talking heads. I am personally pulling for a Northern Iowa miracle. And I'd also like to see Miami Ohio, St. Joe's and UAB get bids as well.

Indiana had 3 non-conference wins, that eliminates them right there. I like their chances in the NIT though.

Right Fair Warning, but they went 10-6 in the Big 10 while Iowa went 7-9. The Selection Committee allegedly takes conference records into consideration. Indiana shouldn't be in, IMO, but the subjective nature of this process leads to these kind of debates.

I heard Andy Katz say the other day that selection committee member told him that they weren't putting a lot of weight into the RPI, so now I wonder what the heck criteria they are using.

There is no way Indiana goes ahead of Iowa.

The conference means very little compared to the OVERALL picture..............and that is what the committee looks at, be it right or wrong.
