Just out of curiousity, does anyone know when the NIT is announced. I think the games tend to be a little easier to handicap due to the fact that teams are playing at home or on the road.

I would think that Indiana, Maryland, Notre Dame, and Depaul will be the top seeds there....

They most likely will get the home games, and bracketed so that the 4 of them can make it to New York......

Maybe Memphis, Miami-o, or St Josephs might be top seeded as well...

Memphis would bring lots of fans to New York, as would ST Joes

NIT will be good as always. A lot of quality teams going in. Different style of handicapping though because some teams won't be motivated.

AK,

I love when one of these non motivated teams comes to play against a good home team. Betting the home teams last year was a big money makere for me.

Also teams that got snubbed seem to play like crap sometimes. Utah st beat down last year. Maybe Depaul this year out in first game.

I wouldnt think Maryland would be motivated either..this team has played down to its opponent all year....I think the last time the Terps went to the NIT I was at the game way back when Sly Williams played at Rhode Island,,,,a LONG TIME AGO...Terps beat Rhode Island and lost the next gme versus Ohio State, this was around 1980

Maryland vs. Oral Roberts. I like Oral Roberts plus some points.

Good tourney brackets in the NIT. I wonder about Miami O., if they'll be OK after getting left out of the dance.

To me, there isn't really too much handicapping to the NCAA tourney until Wednesday morning after you see which way the lines move (I play pretty much all dogs), but NIT you have to really dig around a little.

GL this week.

WInky,

Has Fullerton gone NIT in recent years?

define recent?

i am almost certain fullerton last made the NIT in the 1986-87 season

HONEST!

i think this will only be the FOURTH post-season appearance for the school for hoops

think of all of the success we have in beisbol - then do a 180 - and you have basketball at titan tech

Winky,

I think that Oregon State beats Fullerton pretty easily in this one. Oregon State has been playing some very good ball lately, especially at home. I think they have only lost once there all season. What are your thoughts?

fullerton + non-conf game in which we have to board a plane = DISASTER!

not sure - will have to look at this one a tad more - and see what the line is - but right now - not sure which way to go
