I never gave UNI a chance to get in. And what about Louisville getting a 4 seed. The committe is on crack.

Isn't the UNI AD on the committee? I know he can't be in the room when they are talking about his team...but I still wonder if that may have had any effect on them getting in. They are not a team deserving of a bid

This and Louisville as a #4 seed showed that they gave Conf. USA no respect at all.

Cornell should have gotten in over N Iowa. They may hang with Wisconsin but either team gets crushed by Kansas (as a 3 seed !!)

I'm sure 100's of thousands gasped when Louisville was at #4....

What can they be punished for almost losing?

The worst part of the 3 Iowa schools making it is we get to hear that guy Fishhead tell us how wonderful they all are.

I follow the MVC very closely, and it is a very solid conference. But UNI getting in is a complete joke. Depaul would crush them, and had about the same record playing in C-USA. You can't tell me this was not politically motivated. Iowa AD, who is the former UNI AD. What a crock of bullshit.

Northern Iowa is very deserving, IOwa and NC ST should be NIT bound

No Miami. NO Buffalo. The MAC got screwed.

Miami would clobber Iowa.

look at IOWA play vs non-conf and their close losses. IOWA would be the FAV trust me.

You think UNI should be ahead of DePaul, and even ND? UNI had plenty of terrible losses, and few quality wins.

Shows that RPI does mean something. UNI almost 20 spots better than Depaul! Both with 2 wins over RPI top 50. Either team could've been in. Depaul lost to MVC Bradley. Really don't think it is that big of a deal. Again...RPI means something here.

Also, MVC rated about USA in RPI for conferences

You guys are severely under-rating the MVC and the MAC

Depaul is a crappy team, anyone thinks they are NCAA material hasn't been watching all year long. Also, they had their "loser leave town" vs. UAB twice ........and lost both. They also GOT BLOWN OUT by N ILL and Bradley this year, AND lost by about 88 @ cincinnati.

Northern Iowa played 3 "real" non conf. games. They whacked Iowa State at home by 17, they lost by 3 at Iowa, they lost by 6 at Cincy.

Not too shabby, an easy 3-0 ATS, and one wonders what Dedunks, dethrills would have done.

NDame, NCAA? Hahahahahahahaha. LMAO. I guess those home wins vs. Marist, W ILL, Samford and Son, IPFW, Harvard, Charl. State, Army were impressive.

With the chips on the line, they lost their "loser leave town" home game vs. UCLA, and then lose to Rutgers. RUTGERS people RUTGERS.

I think it's a big deal. UNI lost the Bradley, too. And Drake, and Evansville. A lot of losses for them, in a solid, but not spectacular conference. DePaul is a much better team, and got fukked today.

I know the MVC is solid, and went to a lot of MVC games this year. I just think UNI's poor showing in the tourney should have sealed their fate. Wichita is the better team, and they didn't deserve to get in. How can UNI get in ahead of Wichita?
