SITE PROMOTION why have it????

here at the rx we have a site promotion and basically i would like to know why.

why have scamdicappars on the site promotions saying the will bust your book and make you thousands. there may be 1 or 2 good guys on the bunch over there like alan

but the other guys .......beware

does the RX PROFIT from this if they did would it be understandable??

but i believe it is free
for anyone

i am amazed why people are so curious about handicappers if they were so good why sell there picks instead of making money off of them

many have other agenda's like being tied in with a sportsbook
than telling them to sign up with that sportsbook..

sad very sad

and look at this guyright now in the site promotion

Good point Kid...I will see if The Shrink can explain it....

I don't think many people even visit that section, its kind of the dumpster for touts.

I orginally had that section as a courtesy for some businesses that could not afford to or who did not choose to advertise on here. I thought that some of what went on there could help our posters. This site does not make any money from having this section and I see your point...

If others feel the way you do, then why continue it? :icon_conf

I am very open minded to what some of you say...

and i feel this brings the rx down a notch buy having some people tring to scam other people

how SAD is this to see , now if your a new poster who might be helpless or in some trouble you might actually fall for this scam

I doubt anyone would miss it.....

It seems that most forums have a promo room (that no one visits) to give the touts a place to spew their BS, and prevent them from whining about not being able to post.

Some people do get sucked in by their lies, so for their protection, I could certainly understand the reasoning for removing it. Then again, maybe it's only fair to give them a place to sell a $100 flyer? :tongue2:

1. Keep the Sites Promotion forum.

2. Post a Stickie at the top of that forum letting people know that many of the people posting offers might be scammers.

3. Have the moderators go down there from time-to-time to remove and ban the obvious scammers.

Bottom line is it doesn't matter how much we warn posters, old and especially new, there are ALWAYS going to be those that fork over cash for tout selections, whether they be found here or somewhere else.......
(Im sure someone's response will be "Better somewhere else than here though") lol
