You ever think about a large wager all day long then pass and not even bet the game?

Anyone have this problem , I loved a game that goes off tonight and wanted to bet it big....after taking all day to decide I am passing on it....

I have been pondering a game since Monday, and tonight it goes off, and I have been mulling over back and forth with this all day long....Planned to make a signficant wager (for me) and after pacing up and down the aisle of the grocery store have decided to PASS!

Of course the game will hit for sure now, I just couldn't pull the trigger :icon_conf

Oral Roberts +10.5 ...I really wanted to pound it, and playing it small isn't going to do much for me at this point.....I will pull had for the Terps to cover....

I can't recall ever do this, and I am certain it will win for sure now!

Oral Roberts is 11-4 on the road this season....Maryland is 3-7 ATS in their last ten games. 1-1 when more than 10 point fav.

Been thinking about a large wager for the last 20 years, and yet to make one.

Okay Jman....you got me this time.

Early research is all leaning one way---the mind starts racing, the L word is popping in & out of your head faster than the tip of JJ's 2 incher through his hand.

You think you have an absolute can't lose pick....but as you dig deeper and deeper, you start coming across the stats which go the other way. At first, it is a little demoralizing, then it becomes full blown depressing.

Another 3 hours spent on a game, only to find out that your angle that previously appeared to be awesome, turned out to be a big bucket of crap.

:sad3:

After encountering this type of situation in the past, I have realized that when I bet it-it loses, if I passed on it-winner.
So I came to the conclusion that not winning is better than losing, so passing is CORRECT!!!!!

Oral Roberts led 28-15 (getting 10.5) I was feeling like crap...Md ends up winning by 13 go figure..ORAL shot the ball 3-20 beyond the arc..and one player took 1/3 of their shots lol (5-24!)

I feel good!
