Put on some weight, gain some strength. I lift some, but not a lot. I run quite a bit and I realize its helpful for sprinting and not distance but that's perfectly fine for me.

10-15 pounds would be perfect over a period of time

VT, what sport are you training for?

If you play baseball, let me suggest you read "Juiced" by Jose Canseco. He suggests that the proper mix of steroids and human growth hormones can make a person stronger, healthier, and extend their life....

if you want to gain some size and strength -- then i would take it.. its not like roids but pretty good OTC stuff... you will notice an increase in strength... take it 3 times per day ( i think).. it helped me to increase my bench...

Yes it will make you stronger... I wouldn't do it again though..I did it once about 5 yrs ago now....I went from being stuck at a max bench press to gaining 50 lbs on the bench press in one month....I didn't gain any weight though...What I did have was cramping and numbness in my arms and hands, very painful! Did gain 50 lbs of bench press strength , and there is no doubt it was from the creatine.

I would like to know more about it...at this point in time, I'm not sure its worth risking any health over muscling out some extra weight on the bench...I'm more inclined to have a hard time gaining weight so I wouldn't be able to judge if it adds lbs on ...

SSI how long did you take it?

Also make sure you don't overdue it, don't continue to take it. cycle on and off.

cramping does occur if you dont drink enough water. If you add plenty of water to your diet you should avoid the cramping.

on a whole creatine works. you may want to do some experimenting with the dosage. here is how i cycle the stuff when i use it:

1st week 20 grams a day, then 5 or 10 grams the next 7 weeks. Then i take a month off. i dont cycle all year, just from january until september.

Jman, ive took it several different times, never ever had a problem with it, other than the weight gain... cycling it is best, same with roids, if cycled then there is no problem, the problem comes from guys not getting off the stuff.. if done correctly, no way they harm you,, the mental concept is what gets you.. 8 week cycles are what you should use, oh i forgot we are on creatine..

btw jman, "animal house" just came on amc...

I take it now. You must drink a ton of water, if you dont, it will strain your kidneys. Creatine causes your muscle to absord water, this is why you dehydrate and always thirsty. If you deny your body the water you need , it will do harm in the long run on your kidneys. If you take it properly I dont see any side effects. As far as it working, it works great and Journeymans 50lbs strenth gain is very common. Just make sure you drink water and cycle it .

you can find studies to back up anything you want it to. i have taken it and i can tell you it works. its not steroids and the gains will be minimal in comparison. but it works.

some people complain because they think creatine will turn them into barry bonds over night.
