I was just checking out Royal's props for the NCAA tournament....

They have "Will a #16 seed beat a #1 seed"?

NO is OTB & YES is +1200

1200! cmon Royal, PLEASE tell me this is an error! Did you mean +12,000?

To have it at +1200, to me, is insulting.

Guess you won't be betting that with the FREE MONEY that Royal gave you in the contest, that was FREE TO ENTER......

Pretty "insulting" to me to call out a book that has given you free money, over a "line's odds".....

If they slow pay, no pay, renig on bonus, etc....then fair game, but to call them out on the forum, for a line they make, when you are playing with their money, seems "INSULTING' to me......

You could have emailed them and asked if the line was a mistake......

Anytime a line doesnt offer you the "value" that it should, u also have the option, of NOT BETTING IT, and playing it elsewhere...

bucs, i'm SHOCKED you responded like that.......

by no means am I trying to insult royal......the fact they sponsor contests here at therx, (including a couple of wins for me) does NOT go un-noticed....i am VERY appreciative of their contests.........i cant express enought to you that i appreciate them.....

that being said bucs, i still find it crazy that they posted a +1200 # on that prop....maybe i'm wrong, maybe more books have it at that? i really don't know. i guess i could have been a littler softer about it, but just because someone sponsors a contest doesnt mean they get a free pass on any issues one may have......

what's wrong with questioning a line on a book?

If you read my post, i said, if they slow pay you, no pay you, renig on bonus, anything like that, by all means, they should be called on it.....There is no free pass because they sponsor a contest, however to call them out on the forum, and say they are "insulting" you because u don't like the "odds" on a prop bet, i think is a little un-appreciative....Thats just my opinion

Not worth laying anyhow guys. Play the lottery this weekend as you probably have a better shot at winning it than a #16 beating a #1.........

By the was Bucs~Buddy.........Has Royal started live wagering again?

i agree that i always have the right NOT to bet it.....but ANY book, even if it's all of them, that puts up that # on that prop is WRONG for doing so.......

A no option is nice to have, even at high juice ! I wouldn't be too hard on an ingracious appearing Sherman, he has a point but many books offer ridiculous bets, it's not Royal's exclusive domain.

Let's just move onward ! :monsters-

sherman, if you were booking, what odds would you post for a 2-way on this prop?

Are you talking to me? I don't think it's a good deal either. Just wondering what you would offer it at instead?

OK, so with no being OTB, what would you seriously offer the 'yes' at if you were booking it?

Last year Bodog had 'Yes' at +2500.

I'm not sure of Royal's bonus rules for the current promo but I would guess they may be guarding the roll-overs by taking the 'No" OTB.

I've seen numerous books being called out on the forums for offering rip-off lines to try to reel in some suckers. Intertops, as an example is often blasted on the forums for offering huge strattles which seems unethical.

Why should Royal get a pass for the same type of behavior? Because they advertise and give away free money? I commend Sherman for not being silenced by the fact they give away bonus and contest money more then most books. He isn't saying they are a terrible book, just complaining about the line they are offering.

This line could easily be +5000.

Them accepting bets on +1200 is wrong. Unless they agree to never ever cancel a players bet on a bad line. Is it OK for a player to Bet the +1100 on a line that should be +110? I know it's an extreme example. It just isn't right for books to post bad lines for the players and yet cancel bets on other " bad lines" when the book is the one with the huge disadvantage.

I'll take it at +5000, for the limit please. :103631605

-260 and over doesn't count to rollover, I think that was Royal but" I don't sweat the petty stuff, nor do I pet the sweaty stuff." I don't mind roll-overs a bit.

Make the bet, then call your sportsbook and ask for payout. Oakland won and they are a 16 seed.:lolBIG:

I will also take +5000, for as much as you will let me.

Take a look around, Montana is +2100 at 5 dimes. Royal is also throwing in the other 3 16s (+10000, +15000, +9000) into this prop.

Now someone please tell me how this should be +5000 or +12000 instead of what's listed?

Some quick math makes it somewhere around +1500/-3000

maybe a slight underlay but not worth complaining about
