During Foots Season,,, How Do Tv Touts Not Get Arrested???

I know everyone here has seen the TV TOUTS that come on at 7-8 in the AM on SAturday and SUNDAY Morning during FOOTS season,,,, How are these Cats not being Arrested?

Isnt what they are doing more Illegal than BAIT AND SWITCH,,, isnt it similar to MAIL FRAUD of sorts??

How are these guys allowed to Say what they say and NOT be Put in Jail,,,

I am refrencing this only because its rediculous and with the most RECENT addition,, CASHMAN,, who wants 5 thousand a Month,,LOL,,,

Do you think the FCC Lets these guys get away with their LIES to PUNISH "some" Gamblers???

these guys give out so many games and have different names for all of them.

if fiest goes 8-15 for the weekend but 3-1 on his " mo money " games , you better believe all you will hear about in next weeks episode is how hot his
" mo money " games are..

whats illegal about that ?

i dont agree with it , but i cant claim its illegal..

Tate= l know it is annoying and as far as I know you are right that none have been arrested for fraud. The ones that I know of have been threatened w/ fraud and pled guilty to lesser charges (wire wager, tax evasion or money laundering).

Tate- Sorry, I got caught up in the Roids issue. As far as this clown trying to sell his pivks, I addressed the thread in the RR. I am sure he will not sell anyone here, but it is good that you guys jump in his threads in the sports rooms and just remind everyone. I am sure he is a small time guy afraid to spend any money advertising, so I doubt that he will get anywhere.

They arent any different than many stock brokers. If asked privately they would tell you they sell hype and excitement, not picks. The picks are merely the medium that gets the sorts that pay this money "high". The pick could be a total dud, but if they hype it the core customer doesn't care. The person actually looking for winners figures it out quickly and stops doing business with them.

I will add that the worst thing that can happen to a new customer is to have the tout win the first 3 or 4 games.....

Communiating gambling information is a felony in Georgia. I went to jail for it once. Got it reduced to mistermeanor gambling. Still sucked.

because they know where "the line" is and make sure to get as close to it as possible - w/o crossing it and when they occasionally do so - they know odds are very good the government doesn't really care of spend time looking over what they do - so why stop doing it

the worst part might not be the "bait and switch" they pull - but the fact when you call them - and then give them your home number and info - they now have YOUR info (they also get it via the "ANI" info they get by you calling the 800-number) and they are going to call you NON-STOP FOR YEARS and they are also going to sell your number to about a zillion other scumbag services and these losers will call and call and call and call and...

and when you tell them not to call they will hang up on you and call you back later because they know you can't track them down (for the most part). they call with the name of the service - but good luck trying to track them down for an address or loaction. ever look in the phone book for the number of someone like Jack Price or Stu Feiner? FORGET IT! they don't have it - and getting an address is just as impossible and it is also very easy for those calling to change their name and now the trail on them turns cold again (some people on this site know what i am talking about)

as others have pointed out - the simple fact is this industry basically does what it wants unless they committ a major league "F-up". other than that - the "police" don't have time to go after every single service so this lawlessness industry does what it does w/o too much fear of retribution
