needs to step up and be a man and admit his use of steriods.

Makes me sick this guy was THOUGHT of as Mr. All-American by the media and fans.

Never have I seen a player so full of manure.

I really dislike this individual.

Could be the fact that they did not offer immunity.

I'm with ya. There is nothing to like about him.

I ALWAYS hated America's facination with this guy. He gets all the love and is considered the homerun king despite Bonds taking the title from him a short time later. Barry is a rat as well but eff Mcgwire.

85 Topps card is dropping like a rock

sad part Don Mattingly played his heart out until his back gave out , while McGwire used roids to put up huge #'s and possible HOF induction

Donnie Baseball was 100% better player overall than McSteroid ever was

donnie ballgame...now that was a ballplayer. clemens stole his mvp in 86...just like canseco stole greenwell's in 88.

i demand justice!

get rid of all those records and awards and give them to guys like mark grace, tony gwynn and mike greenwell who clearly never even lifted a weight...let alone shot hormones in their asses.

Chris- Let me guess where you might be from......

I have had many arguments w/ Yankee fans about how average Mattingly was.

I will not argue Mac against him, becasue people will always point to the Roids now,but how about Grace? He atleast was able to get into the post season.

Joke right?

McGwire full of ****? Nothing to like about him....get serious.

Where's his arrogance? Fame did not faze this man. He never lost it, or let the media or glory change him. His is an All American. Did he use supplements, --yes that were legal at the time.

Did he use illegal steroids, I dont know, but i am sure as hell not assuming he did because of what Jose says or any other reason other then him admitting.

Athletes that dont let money fame or fortune change them or make them feel better than the world are derserving of at least a little respect. Not to mention his homerun feet.

Comparing the person of bonds to bigmac, should help you realize this. again the person, not the statistical player.

The problem I have Blue is who is going to determine which guys used Roids and which players did not?

I would lay 8 to 1 that Greenwell did some at some point. He is way to arrogant to let other players get a leg up on him.

fish i agree by the way. it was all i could do to fight back the vomit in 1998 when everyone was kissing he and sosa's asses. espn every night had mcgwire and his fat son all over the tv. just sickening.

and, to say mcgwire is not arrogant is hilarious. that guy was a total prick to the media the whole time. i cant stand sosa either but, at least he seemed humble in 1998. we know now that it was an act but, he let the fans think he was a good guy for a while.

Big Mac always seemed pretty arrogant to me. One dimensional player - I'd say there's about a 95% chance he was juiced.

not only was he one-dimesional...he was a fragile ming vase. that is until 1996 when he miraculously put on 40 lbs of muscle and played 150 games a year.

remember in the early 90's when he had that mullet and was on the dl for half the season every year?

Mac admitted he was juiced. Androstenedione. It was legal in baseball back then. I don't know if it is now.

I have stated this more than once.

I feel like over 80% of all Baseball players have taken Roids at some point.

Why do guys have career years when they are in the last year of the contract? Because they focus harder? Ya right!

i was one of the many who thought it was legit...looks so obvious now that it wasn't. i guess i figured this sport was better than the olympics but i guess it never was...at least not since the 70's and 80's.

How much are those 87 Donruss unopened going for on Ebay? You dont have to give me your auction's result, just an estimate.

Thanks.

An entire generation of young athletes and lifters took Andro due to Big Mac. Not sure if you can still by it OTC now but you could back then. it is now banned in NFL and MLB.
