Still an underdog, but they could certainly beat them.

Of course they could beat them....they could, it's not likely, but they could beat them without Duncan. UNC would be favored by a whole lot less.

Oakland would need Duncan and Lebron.

No I don't think they would win but they would have a very slight shot...think back to whatDavid Robinson did for Navy back in 1986,,,,NAVY!!

He carried Navy to the elite 8! :suomi:

If Oakland had Duncan,Lebron and Shaq they would still have their ass handed to them today! Guys trust me on this one, with UNC rested and pissed off about losing in ACC tourney, they are going to beat the hell out of these scrubs! Damn, look @ the teams Oak has lost to in there own division this year!! UNC up by atleast 20 @ half and then it gets real ugly in 2nd half! I'm big on UNC -26 today

Maybe the question should of been, "If Tim Duncan were still in college could Oakland pull an upset".......

Keep in mind Duncan is probably twice the player now than he was in college.
If he were still in college, he would give them a better chance of winning, not getting blown out. If somehow he could suit up for Oakland and still be the caliber of player he is at this very moment, I think he could carry Oakland to a victory........

If the referees had a bunch of money on the Oakland moneyline, Oakland could win. Referees determine winners a lot in baskets. My opinion of course.
