Can the Celtics win the East?

10-1 now since reacquiring Antoine. Rolled a hot Houston team in Houston tonight. Beating Miami would be a chore, but making the Eastern Conference Finals is certainly not out of the question.

Fun team to watch, but I think their lack of defense will be their doom in the playoffs.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the answer is NO! Although I do love what the trade has done for the Celtics, they are in no way, shape, of form going to beat the HEAT in a 7 game series. They should pull away with the Atlantic and beat the 6 seed in the playoffs. Then they will be in trouble with Detroit. And if they somehow someway get past the Pistons......then it's SHAQ and D WADE time! Not a chance my friend. No way the Celtics beat the Heat. But, hey, you are talking to a homer over here! :howdy:

I think youre right on with that assessment. I can't see them beating Detroit or Miami in a series.

they beat detroit last week. detroits asleep they dont want it. only team im worried about is miami, i dont see detroit hanging with 10-1 new c's. pistons havent had a run like that all year

Good luck, you guys will need it. Nice move though to make it more exciting, but Pistons D is going to be hard for anyone in the East to beat in a series.
