I am in NY and we didnt get to see one second of the bucknell upset over kansas! We were stuck with odu and mich st. I could see if it was syracuse but no one in NY cares about ODU or mich st. Every year they do the same thing and it drives me nuts.

i loved the ODU game, but did we need to see every second? at least switch back for the last 30 seconds. that kind of stuff is just painful to watch. You spend all day thursday and friday watching crappy games and when there are finally some good games we get shut out

CBS doesn't move around with the fluidity it once did...can't figure out why...

We need more than one outlet, it sucks..ESPN made the early round games much more exciting with the live look-ins...CBS dropping te ball

Digital cable here shows all the games, except when CBS breaks away to national coverage of some last minute action. Another reason to live in Vegas and subscribe to Cox???

They are definitely not as fluid switching back and forth any more. Maybe it has to do with people who buy these packages to see all the games, maybe CBS doesn't intentionally switch because people who buy these packages would feel ripped off paying for a game that wasn't supoosed to be shown in an area and thenCBS ends up showing it. I'm not saying that's right but there has to be some reason behind it. ESPN was the best at cutting into games. ESPN was the best period when it came to the tournament.

It is all about the $$$$ they get from the package. Pissing people off by doing this encourages people to buy the package the following year. I get it and it is worth it. They could stagger these games instead of having two hours off from 4 to 6.

BTW about the package...your local game is always cut off from the package. But if the local coverage switches games, they activate the sattelite feed so you can continue watching if you want. They didn't use to do this.

They switch to the game that is more close, that's great. Unfortunatelly i dont think USA peoples can get it, but european readers yes. If CBS showed Duke when they were comfortably ahead instead than the OT game, well they should be banned.

Here in the South Bend area, CBS cuts away from the Mich St game with 2 minutes left for the Kansas game. Then on the high-def package, they show the GT-GW game and don't have the running score of the Mich St game at all. :icon_conf

after CBS completely blew the coverage of the bucknell game, they let us watch the end of the mich st game that ended up being far from dramatic. then they took us out to SPECIAL coverage of the end of the gtech-GW game with 50 seconds left and gtech running out the clock of a 12 point game. :hump:

for the first time in my life i contacted network television to complain about its coverage.

Going to commercial w/ 30 seconds left in a tight game is rediculous. So much energy in the gym, and 'we'll be right back'.

CBS Seattle showed the end of the Bucknell game, then switched to ODU.
