Is this the kind of info handicappers use to make selections?

Like when one Saturday you bet every CBB dog, are you planning
to bet every NBA dog on Saturday for, say, one unit?

If so, how is this any different than a BJ system that raises the
stake, from say 1 to 100, when the dealer goes on a good run?

It is different because there are a completely different set of variables that come into play.

By the way, in no way am I suggesting to wager on every underdog in the NBA today just because the Dogs are 10-30 this week thus far.

I was even more tempted to bet every Saturday NBA dog
after i read your post. I went to look at the Pinnacle lines
& was salivating at the thought of those juicy dogs with
all those extra points even before the game began. And
saliva was dripping down my chin. Then the Lord heard
my prayer, lead me not into temptation, & i was saved.

Brutal fave run, and considering I play dogs, 98% of the time, a potential ruinous run for me. But I do look at runs, just like beginning of NBA playoffs last year, I back off. Went Black Bass fishing two days, and landscaped another. Got notched on N.O. when game was tied at home with a minute left getting 4 1/2 and 5. But made it all back last night against Bulls +7 1/2.

As far as X-files questions, everything is circular, just like the wheels on the bus. More importantly, numbers get bumped up by linemakers, especially if chalk is getting bet. So I wait in the grass on the sidelines. When my turn comes, I bet 3 or 4 dogs instead of one. Would I play today? Probably not. I prefer to see the worm turn first. There are some dogs I just hesitate to back, the Jazz, the Magic, the Bobcats on the road. So be selective. You are very lucky to have the Lord guiding you. I always have trouble believing Jesus loves me, even if the Bible told me so. Sort of like stiff Pancho Sanza being a big winner, because he tells everybody so. I prefer proof, school of cynic, Diogenes.

if you are looking for dogs, NCAA hoops providing more than enough. I would advocate taking a long look at Wisc/Milw and UAB. I see nothing in the NBA. One sign of the NBA times, not one opening line has been bet down on the dog, none. The NBA has enough games to be cyclical. The cycle we are in now has a Froggy pass sign.

Good Info... I think Fairwarning hit it on the head..a lot of teams have gave up..they may think they are playing hard but NBA baskets takes a deep drain on whatever energy you heve left..plus all the little physical problems take their toll. If you know your season is finished it is very difficult to get mental energy required for top effort. I will continue to play certain favorites vs gave-up teams like Wash vs Utah today. Thanks for stats from Fish and X-Files..I knew dogs were not covering in general but not to that EXTENT!

Speaking of dogs, it would be hard to take the Bulls tonight. Curry has a strained hammy, youngsters are hitting the wall. Good thing the east is weak.

Bulls without Curry are worthless. They run much of their offense through him, and have no backup. Many of the recent bad losses have been when he is out. It also hurts having super sub from Duke out. I think Antonio scored 2 pts in his place. And get this, they scored a measly season low 10 points in the paint. Curry is the one player they cannot go without.
