Is it off limits to bump up old threads?

I read some complaints the last couple of days about people bumping up old threads. I just used the search engine and found a few very interesting threads from over a year ago that I would not mind hearing peoples thoughts on but dont want to cause any trouble.

Not at all...however at times an old thread can be mistaken as brand new....just try not bump too many at a time...Some are very good to re-read.

Your bumping of pointless threads is getting old quickly and causing meaningless clutter.

I used to enjoy a lot of the old threads you used to bump, now it's become quite annoying.

clutter?? this place used to have so many new threads. can't even fit an entire day's worth on the front page anymore.

I personally don't care but it is fucking annoying. I usually just look at the thread title and figure it out if it's a bumped thread and then don't click.
