Anyone think they can write a quality article for TheRx home page?

I'm sure there are many posters who feel they could write an entertaining and informative article for TheRx home page....

Perhaps we could have tryouts and vote on it....

If you would like to give it a shot how about posting an article in this thread, we can all vote on who is home page worthy :digit: , who knows you may be the next Wild Bill :toast:

Have a resume that includes several years of sports writing.

What do you want the article on, a specific topic, or free lance?

I'd like to think my American Idol reviews I do periodically entertain a few.

Lets just say the pay won't put the kids through college. Its nice to get paid doing something I enjoy, but it isn't making me rich. I have met a number of writers over the last year and the thing you notice about them is they have to really hustle or have another angle to make a good wage. The guys over at Covers do a good job writing, but much of what they make is from the picks. In short think of it like sports or poker, a good hobby but a tough way to make a living.

In honor of Journey's "contest" I will dedicate my next article to giving a few pointers I have learned in over a year of doing this...
