Pittsburgh stole Big Ben in the latter part of Rd 1 and went from a projected sub .500 team, to one win from the Super Bowl...

The word is Cedric Benson's poor showing in front of NFL Scouts has sent his stock tumbling not only out of the top spot but out o the top 10.

Some projections for this years NFL DRAFT;

DRAFT ORDER

1. San Francisco 49ers
2. Miami Dolphins
3. Cleveland Browns
4. Chicago Bears
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

1. San Francisco 49ers - Aaron Rodgers, QB California
Unless the 49ers are sending up serious smoke signals, it appears they will select a quarterback with the first pick.

2. Miami- Ronnie Brown RB Auburn
The Dolphins have a second-round pick invested in A.J. Feeley, but with a new regime coming in, they could be looking for their own guy to groom. However, a running back like Ronnie Brown, who impressed scouts at the combine, would fill a much bigger need at this time.

3. Cleveland BrownsAlex Smith*, QB Utah
4. Chicago BearsBraylon Edwards, WR Michigan
5. Tampa Bay BuccaneersMike Williams*, WR USC
6. Tennessee Titans - Antrel Rolle, CB Miami (Fla)
7. Minnesota VikingsDerrick Johnson, OLB Texas
8. Arizona CardinalsCarnell Williams, RB Auburn
9. Washington RedskinsErasmus James, DE Wisconsin
10. Detroit LionsAlex Barron, OT Florida State

Braylon Edwards goes before Mike Williams? What? That guy can't catch a cold. I know, I know, he makes spectacular plays sometimes, but drops way too many easy passes.

There is nothing that pisses me off more in sports than spectacular athletes dropping balls. They should never drop passes, ever. Pet peeve of mine, and no doubt you'll see him drop a lot this year.

Bears taking another Michigan WR as a Top 10 pick? Hmmmm. They just released one of those.

I'm not that high on Edwards.. he couldn't dominate in the big 10...but now he is so much better and will dominate NFL corners? I don't buy it

but the scouts and GMs are so high on this guy... then again it may be a smoke screen from teams who wan't to trade down

D2, I'll scalp if you wanna meet me there.

Don't think I can make it tonight, but if you really have extra one for Saturday, I would be game for that. I'll pay you double ticket price, buy all your beers, you name it.

My connections fell through, just because there weren't many tickets available, even to Loyalty Circle top tier contributors like my rich friend. I wasn't planning on going tonight either, but my brother, Kornholio, and I may have to take a trip on Saturday and scalp. We both went to the Kansas-Illini game 3 years ago, and it was one of the best times of our lives, it just ended on a bitter note. Would definitely like to meet up with you there. I'm sure there will be lots of tickets available, simply because the losers go home, much like we did 3 years ago. We sold our tickets for $25 each, because it was all we could get on our way out the door. I'm sure they won't be much above face for experienced scalpers like myself that get there early. What's your e-mail?

I'll e-mail admin here to get your e-mail and correspond. Sounds like fun, but only thing is I would not want to miss seeing half the game waiting outside for tickets.

It's certainly not a lock, but I like our chances. A lot. Glad you're back. How did you get back in here?

Two solid players coming out of UGA....QB David Greene may go in the second round and Defensive Lineman David Pollack should be a first rounder.
