Neteller vs. Firepay?

I haven't used Neteller but am pretty satisfied with Firepay. They've gradually upped the amount I can deposit to the point that I don't think I'll ever have to use the pain-in-the-ass Western Union method again. They do charge $3.99 per transfer, not a lot really, but I'm curious as to how Neteller compares for cost and convenience.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Tell me: How do you fund an account with Firepay? Is it credit card only?

Good thread, thanks for the info!

Hey...

I was trying to GET answers here, not GIVE them. (LOL--j/k)
I don't know what alternatives they may offer but I did Firepay by linking it directly to my checking account, so deposits are essentially instant, and so are the ougoing transactions to the book. It's great.

Still, I'd like to know comparable cost/convenience of Neteller. Any Neteller users out there?

Many books nowadays have ways of depositing directly out of your bank account. Obviously, there should be some concern since an unscrupulous book could theoretically take money without authorization. That aside however, it seems to me that this is the best way because because it is the quickest (at least the second and subsequent times) plus it is documented with your bank. Books that allow this deposit method seem to like it because fees are low for them that way. I suppose that's why they frequently offer the highest bonuses for this deposit method.

NETeller works the same once it's linked to your bank account. Instant deposits are 8.9%, although some books pick up the fees. You can deposit to NETeller at no cost provided you wait 4-5 business days for EFT transfer.
