Sales Drop at Wendy's After Finger Found

By ANDY RESNIK, Associated Press Writer COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sales have dropped sharply at Wendy's fast food restaurants in the area of northern California where a woman claimed she found part of a finger in a bowl of chili, but analysts say the company's long-term prognosis should not be affected.

It happened at a popular grocery store a while back. In the meat section a cutter lost his finger and I suppose just couldnt find it. Ended up in someones meat package. If you couldn't find it is it that hard to figure out WHERE IT MAY END UP?! :lolBIG:

Reminds of whe i worked ina Deli when i was like 18 , we had to occasionally slice pepperonis for pizza that people ordered, well I had to slice this pepperoni and it was getting down to the nub and I was pressing down with my thumb, the pepperoni slipped out and my thumb went in the slicer...I lost the tip of my thumb !!!

It was angled and believe it or not the tip grew back,lol...I was so afraid to look at the thumb all I could do was grab it and evnetually looked at it, damn I tell ya I didn't know what I was gonna see! Looking at my thumb now you can't tell it happened. :103631605

That was cost me my thumb tip!

I remember Carolina was playing Notre Dame while I sat in the emergency room..it was during March Madness! When David Rivers was on Notre Dame.

i sliced off part of my ring finger in a meat slicer...that was great. It was at a little sandwich shop in the middle of lunch...i was slicing tomatoes, and slip! off went a small part of my finger!! I tried to call my mom to take me to the hospital (i was about to pass out, so i couldn't drive) when my sister showed up to eat...so she took me instead and stayed away from the tomatoes. i still have a scar on my finger, and some of the feelings gone, but hey it didn't ruin my game!!
