We have been discussing between many of us Cards and Cubs fans of putting together a RX Gathering in Chicago for a Cards/Cubs game? We would like to get an idea of how many people would be interested? It seems that from the people we have been talking to that it would be a great idea. Before checking dates, wanted to get an idea of how many tix we would need to get. Anyway, who would be interested?
I am already planning on coming to Chi-town for 8/13-15 Cubs/Cards series, problem to me would be getting the tickets as we had no luck on internet or phone when tix 1st went on sale last month and that series of course quickly sold out .... would like to hear any ticket ideas you have and will definitely be there so keep me posted if that's the weekend you decide on.

It would be for all rx posters regardless of allegiance. It would be in Aug or Sept as only 2 trips to Chicago for Cards. When we find out how many are interested, we will set out to get the tix and reserve rooms. If you have never been to Wrigley it is a great time with lots of drinking spots within walking distance!

I already do that about half dozen + times a season. I wouldn't care either way but seems Chicago is more central to everyone. If you can't make it would love to get together here in sTl for a game if you like.
Update: I will tell everyone that tix are available and quite cheap for Chicago right now. We can get bleacher seats for about 130 right now or under 80 if you don't care about sitting in bleachers. We probably need to have an idea sometime in the next week and set up exact date and time who to send money for tix and if we need to reserve rooms. If anyone wants to go to more than one game it will be available.

arty: :drink:Ok, keep me informed on exact date, and about how many tickets we will need. I have a good friend that is a ticket broker. Getting tickets won't be a problem, we will have to pay a little over face, but no where near what you would pay if you walked into his store...lol. That is an option we have. If someone else can find them on ebay or something even cheaper, thats fine as well. Bleachers probably the best way to go I'd think.
