The rule giving the team with the better record home court advantage in the playoffs regardless of seed was enacted berore this season.

even if the celtics win their division giving them the higher seed (#3) regardless of record, they dont get home court if they play a team with a better record.

If Bulls were smart, they would try to keep 6th seed as they would play Boston who I believe they would beat and would likely play Detroit in 2nd round who they have beaten handily this season at home and on road. I don't like their matchup with Heat in potential 2nd round series if they win but I like them matching up with anyone else in the East. When they were 0-9 still believed they were a playoff team and when they turned it around believed they may have chance to make Finals this year with the weak east. Though Shaq and Pistons will be heavy favs to meet in east Final, I really feel Bulls are the sleeper and could get it done.
