Rio/Skybook contest thread was closed when I tried at 5:04PM EST...2 entries were

later added by Fish and Dante at 5:05pm and 5:10pm respectively....

Just trying to find out why the thread was closed (before tip) and I was not allowed to join, but after the closure (as late as 6 mins after) mods were allowed to post in it....

Not sure, perhaps mods have the priviledge of posting in closed threads.

If after the tip-OFF, I will personally make a point to cancel Dantes and my entrants.

Sorry for the confusion.

The GENERAL would know more about this than me and perhaps he can comment if he is around.

Makes sense...I was just trying to get in last minute and it was 5:04....was wondering why other entries were allowed...Makes sense if mods can post in closed threads...

No I was stating that I tried to post an entry at 5:04pm which was BEFORE tip...I was unable to as the thread was closed.

Additional entries were added after my 5:04 attempt....Fish statement makes sense if MODS are allowed to post in closed threads...

I didn't know if I was doing something wrong....No biggie as it's just one of the many more Skybook offers to come...

I was just wondering why it was closed so soon...

i locked the thread at 4:05, and it WAS 4:05 RX time, because a post had just been made in offshore, and showed 4:05.....

I locked the thread then because in the rules RIO CLEARLY STATES, no plays allowed after 2:05 pst, not at tipoff....

Its their contest, their money, they can make the rules, i just followed them...

Dante and Fish's posts were put in after 4:05, and both were deleted when i updated the eligible winners in the duplicate thread...
