Opened in San Diego Monday and is lasting about a year. Tickets are hard to come by unless you want to pay a heavy premium. I hate getting robbed by these brokers. Keeping my eye on ebay for Philly or NY area shows. Floor seats are general admission which I guess means you are supposed to run in and get as close as you can to the stage as you can. There are no floor seats so you have to stand and all I can visualize is kind of a mosh pit setting with tons of fights on the floor. I am looking at first 5 rows on the sides by the stage and have not seen less then a $1500 a seat. The last concert I went to was the stones and had first row for less then that. WTF ?

THey are coming back to NY area late in the year. They will be playing quite a few shows at MSG then. Ebay is a ripoff for the May show.

They have an oval runway extending quite a bit into the crowd as Bono is out there quite a bit. General Admission people will flood to that as well as the front of the stage. No real mosh pits at U2. They play for about 2 hours. Lots of songs they havent played in a long time.

I am actually in San Diego now and talked to someone who was at the first show. They said tix can be scalped at close to face. I was gonna stay for tommorow's show but have decided to head to Phoenix to see a few spring training games.

I havent looked but Craigs List would be better value than ebay for tickets. Usually those sellers just want to unload it and ebay sellers want to maximize.

Love their new "How To Dismatle An Atomic Bomb", yet would suggest catching Wilco at your local dive, as they cost less, and are a better current product in their absolute prime.

Catch the great ones on their way up fellas, the shows are cheaper, closer to the act, they're usually hungrier, play longer(not a problem for U2, The Boss, Sting,The Cure,etc..whom always deliver long shows), and the beers are always colder, cheaper, and easier to fetch.

Good to see the Krackman in house, hope your March has been a good one.

May your weekly winnings be high, and your credit limits even higher!
