Maddux is just about washed up. Sure his rookie card is worth money but I will win against him this year.

The more I look at this list, the more a laugh. On the verge, how can you leave off Oliver Perez. The future J Santana:lolBIG: the future is now on this cat. . On the verge Tim Hudson already has 100 wins. On the verge J. Schmidt has been in the league 7 years now. I could go on and on.

That list is silly. 8 of the 10 under Maddux are better (and a few not even mentioned). The entire "on the verge" group is pretty stupid seeing that 4 of them are very good/great today, but to put Zito in with that group is insulting to the others, and borderline retarded

Bonderman might be a good selection for a futre list (I hope so as a Det fan) The rest of them are already "the NOW" Not to mention halladay is also "the 3 years ago"

No he doesn't. If Pedro, Johnson, mid-90's maddux couldn't win 25, Mulder has very close to ZERO chance, and that ain't "good".

maddux isnt half the pitcher santana or sheets are. and sheets isnt even on the list. USA today has about as much sports knowledge as my 10 month old

Carlos Zambrano should be listed somewhere on that list. He is the Cubs best pitcher, and has improved every year he has been in the majors. If improves on last years numbers, he will be top 3 in Cy Young voting.
