why cant the NBA start on time like NFL and MLB

I'll leave out my stereotypical statment I wanted to make :103631605

but its frustrating sometimes... this chicago game had a shcedule tip of 8:05 its now 8:16 and tip isn't in sight...

NFL ALWAYS starts at 1pm on the button... and MLB always start right at 7:05

the TNT games are the worst. they always start off way late

It takes a few minutes for the phone call to arrive. Then, the thumbs up/down and +/- instructions. We are forced to simply hope we win by our handicapping luck and skills or lack thereof.
