To whoever put Royal's banner back up,

Who told you to do so?

Shrink, another mod, or another owner?

Thanks

Another simple question that will probably go unanswered.

Someone told someone to put it back up.

Dude, stop acting so stupid.

Didnt wsex slow pay revere 14 and even tried its best to come up with an excuse not to pay him. Why dont you go concentrate on wsex and see why they reject wagers under $500 something Royal never did to me.

By the way, you better check with your probation officer to make sure you're allowed to post on gambling forums.

Please stop this ****, why dont you ppost all your garbage across the street?

Just for the record, the issue with Revere was not a typical slow pay. The dude took advantage of a glitch in the software that didn't adjust the line and the fact that it was the middle of the night and no one was around to catch it manually and put over $30k on a soccer game when the limit was $500. WSEX also made the oversight of not posting soccer limits on their site, when they clearly posted limits for other sports which ranged from $500 for the less significant to $5000 for the most significant (for WSEX which deals American sports mainly). My grandmother can look at that list and say that soccer would not chime in at anything above $1000, yet after a few days of debating back and forth and a big thread on this forum, WSEX ended up PAYING IN FULL, something they were NOT expected to do by the consensus on this forum.

Why don't you get your facts straight before posting a LIE, Scott?

Jay asked a question, albeit in a less than a diplomatic way and you respond with an outright LIE. Not classy at all.

I know how you feel about Royal. I see Royals name next to WSEX across the street on top, that means your book advertises at mw. So tell me why are you spending so much time and energy here? Dont you think you should be posting some of your questions about Royal across the street? You're attacking Royal, the mods, the big boss, the little boss(Mr Pete), Roberto, ...... I think you should some of this across the street since both your book and Royal race and sportbook advertise across the street.

That is some name you have there Scott for 10 posts. Get your HISTORY right though if you want to go on using that kind of a tagline. Revere scammed and found a glitch in the site. Guys like him go from book to book and do this sort of thing. In the end it hurts all the regular guys who send their money thousands of miles away in hopes that if they win the books will have enough money to pay. The more guys like Revere the harder it becomes to pay. Thank god it was Wsex and not a smaller book.

Its an all time forum low to see JayC attacked both here and elsewhere. Mark D, Eddie H, NAB Bill, Charlie T, these guys tried but in the end they grabbed what money was left and ran. Tej never tried, it was always a scam from day 1. The money used to buy Royal was money stolen. Now the arguement is that this serial murderer has not murdered anyone in 18 months, so he must be ok. WTF?? Maybe he has graduated to just slow pays? Whatever. Like I said, its sad to see JayC attacked.

Good post Buzz. Same sorta thing with the owner of Bodog and Tradewiinds though. The list goes on. Not an easy situation.

I think JC is doing the right thing as well. Would be nice if he would use some of his clout and as aggressively go after Antigua to pay the stiff jobs there. Royal still pays after run after run after run after run after run.

Scott the Historian,

Last time I checked, I didn't have my first amendment rights revoked but thanks for checking.

As far as the soccer thing, I was sort of locked up when that happened and was following via mail several days behind. Unfortunately I got the first part, where he hadn't been paid, and then the second part where everything was straightened out days later. I laughed when someone wrote Jay Cohen must be rolling over in his bunk as he reads this because I was.

For thr record, as I read the first part I felt the player should have been paid and was glad to see my former associates did the right thing. I would hardly consider that a slow pay. They investigated some very unusual activity, they tried to contact the man who did not leave a good number or email, and when they eventually did contact him with the help of the sites, they paid him in full. How many other books would have paid out over $35,000 to that man in that situation? WSEX screwed up, they made good on it.

I am a big advocate of airing these matters out on this board as opposed to a buried forum. People ask me if I would like it if WSEX complaints were here and I say fine because I am proud of the way they handle themselves and resolve things. They have nothing to hide. In a large company things are going to happen from time to time. It's how they are handled that separates the cream from the crop.

I have known Shrink a long time. My company was his second advertiser here in 1997, SDB was the first and they are long gone. I was the one who told him to start this board. And I know he is away. Tomorrow is his birthday. He always asks me why I don't post more over here? Well, here I am. These are serious issues, not what we had for dinner last night.

Major, there are few things I would rather do than go around Antigua and get the customers of scumbag Eddie paid. It's not something I can do from here, although I have tried. But if I ever get the opportunity, I will. You make it sound like I have a direct line to the Prime Minister, I wish it were so. In the alternative I would like to see the other Antiguan books get together and square up the debt, not an easy task but I think it will happen one day. But please don't change the subject.

You say you are tired of dealing with the Royal question every 3 months and they always pay. Ask yourself this, why the hell do they slow pay every three months that you have to deal with the questions. If they just paid EVERYONE in a timely fashion EVERYTIME these questions would never arise. And I am shocked that you of all people are not more troubled by the Tej issue.

Still no word from the tech.

The owner did Jay. SHRINK was in-flight when it was done and I posted all I can at this time. The owner is actively investigating the issues with Royal Sports.

Jay, I admire you coming to the forum, and asking direct questions. I can't do it all alone. You paid the scammer. I cannot judge what is right and wrong here, but I would not have paid him. But you did, and I really respect that. I wish there were more guys like you running the shows, but the Eddies are slowly getting removed. And hopefully others are learning and changing their ways. I for one welcome any and all of your posts. I would not worry about Scott. He is more of a Mistorian. And his first posts were direct attacks on WSEX. You two know each other?

Best Wishes...OF

Kudos too you JC. Keep up the fight. I know you have long standing relationships with these watchdogs, but as you can see, they are all agenda( money, advertising etc) sites that will never go against one of their advertisers even if a WELL KNOWN SCAMMER is found too be involved. It's real sad. They will however go after posters real hard and blatantly make up lies about them too the satifaction of their advertisers..which alway comes back too kick them in the ass. Good luck too you in this losing battle against theses shameless watchdogs. :)

I do tend to agree with the Mystorian on one regard. Jay has been acting like a jackass a lot lately. Acting that way is not going to get the answers you are looking for. You should know better than that.

Good point RF, he is taking it to an extreme. But maybe he is passionate about the situation. Tough read. I would think his heart is in the right place. But his approach is slightly overboard. There is a very fine line, a razor's edge, between wanting to know the facts, getting answers, or looking like you have a vendetta. The questions have been presented. I will patiently await the answers from all concerned. I think that is fair.

drunk,

You are forgetting that guys like you, me and others are more than just mere observers on this site. In a way, we're like the watchdogs' watchdog. Our discussion forces the Shrink to consider fairness and objectivity and so he may just reconsider his advertising contracts with books that represent a risk to players, partly because of our pressure...our best strategy is to just keep our opinions coming IMO.

Very well stated. That is why I am here. I may get attacked from all sides doing it, but that just strengthens my resolve. But it also makes this site what it is. Without those contrary opinions, it would evolve into Orwell's 1994.
