Traded Nick Green, a good utility infielder for a crappy middle reliever Jorge Sosa from Tampa Bay.....The Braves pen is shaky at best; I hope this guy can improve in Atlanta.

You know Giles will play 150 games if he is healthy. I like green just like you do, but we have a dire need in the bullpen. You know what Leo has done in the past with other unwanted players from other teams. Jaret Wright, Cris Hammond, Mike Reminger, etc etc etc. This pitcher they got from the Rays was once the top prospect in the whole organization. He has a 97 MPH fastball that I think Leo can work wonders with him.
I do understand where you are comming from though. Nick Green was one of my favorite players too. Always gave it all on the field 100% of the time. I also hate to see Charles Thomas get away. But to get something you have to give something in return. Never question the great general manager we have. I can count the bad trades hes made with one hand. Its also time to see what Wilson Betament can do. Its put up or shut up time for this once blue chip prospect. He will get the chance to play this year to see what hes made of. I think the most important thing for the Braves if they want to be a World Series contender is they need another quality lefthander in the pen. Mondesi most produce something, and Adam Laroshe must play like he did the last 2 months of the season.
