Early Offshore books like CRIS started using added juice with the number 3 in NFL football back in the mid 90's. Back then many books were simply named after the boss eg. Frankie's, Dickie's, Mickey weelchair, and several others in places like Costa Rica, Margarita, and the Dominican Republic. Eventually as the industry evolved and the books renamed themselves commercial like names (Tradewinds, CRIS, Jazz, etc.) added juice became common practice not only with the dangerous NFL 3 but with other common fall numbers like 7. Who was the first to actually hang a 3-120 is anyone's guess.
