I would like some advice on Money Management for betting MLB Dogs only, what would be the best betting strategy;

Betting a certain percent (say 2% as an example) of your starting bank and then keeping this stake amount the same for the whole season, or;

Betting a certain percent (lets say 2% again) of your starting bank but as your starting bank goes up or down you adjust your stake, up or down, to remain at ' 2% ' of your current bank, or;

Betting a certain percent (lets do the 2% again) of your starting bank but only increasing your stake when your bank has increased by 25%, never reducing your stake.

These are the 3 options I am looking at this season and would appreciate any advice, also if anyone has any other staking plan I would love to hear about it.

Cheers :drink:

personally, i think its best to raise your stake as your roll increases, but there are a lot of sharper guys than me around to answer this.

What the Phuck. Why do so many people think you got to bet dogs only. Its like any sport. You have to pick the winner. I have seen so much talk about betting the BoSox this Sunday. Not this kid. I like Randy.

OK let's forget the Dog bit. The question was about a staking plan, surely it should be the same MLB/NBA/NFL dog or fav:icon_conf

Regarding your staking plan I think a constant percentage of current bankroll maximizes gain and minimizes risk compared to the other strategies.

Agree, best option of 3 bad options.

If someone gave you the Red Sox +340 game 1, surely you would bet more. You get my point.......load up on key games you like AND where you get great rogue lines.
