Not sure how Illinois is a dog here, lost one game by 1 point, covered every spread when they were a dog this year and have met every challenge thrown at them!

Roy Williams teams, (see Kansas in 2003) choke their chickens harder than most anyone with that kind of talent...no way in hell you can put money and/or faith in them coming through...

Stick with what got you there...aside from this game tonight, what BIG games has North Carolina really won?! Illinois has met ALL Challeges and taken em all down.

Stick with a winner and fade the choker...

Roy Williams and his Kansas squads speak volumes, the 1997 team was considered one of the great recent teams and didn't make the final 4.

Also think back to 1999, Duke was the BEST team in a decade, lost outright to Uconn...

Add to it that "Duke Vitale" has picked UNC all the way and you have a locked in winner LOL

Add to it that UNC plays ZERO Defense....And Illinois plays some of the best man to man out there, at least on the guards and I can't see how you can't like Illinois here.

Illinois will score all over NC. You beat NC with a patient motion offense that moves the ball until the Carolina D inevitably breaks down and allows a good look. UNC can't (or doesn't) play 35 seconds of solid D on each possession. MSU didn't have the patient enough offense to win a game that was played ragged. Illinois will wear UNC down on D.

Did anyone else hear Rick Pitino say Illinois was the best college basketball team he has seen in 10 years in a post game ESPN interview? Monday night may very well proove him right.

Until he wins it, he is a bet against....But the Red Sox won last year which makes me think twice. And the Eagles got to the Super Bowl. And Phil Mickelson won the Masters.....On second thought, give me NC for the limit.

I agree 100% with Brock, you cant find bigger mismatch than Weber vs Roy, Illinois should be favored, NCAR cant shoot outside of 5 feet, I would pack it tight down low and beg guards to shoot. NCAR is a very stupid team, Ill very smart team
