I like the Rockets at 44-1

I would think so too. It probably has to do with their seeding and not having home court for any series. But at 44-1 it looks like enticing.

Seattle is a screaming value at that price. Don't think that highly of its chances, but still 34-1??? They without a doubt have a FAR better chance of winning the title than Chicago does. Who are they kidding with that? They must have some serious liability with the Bulls.

Damn I have the Rockets winning it all at another book for $500 but I only got +2600 odds!!!

Dont I feel stupid now!!

But when Yao gets back, they will be solid

I for one would not have Miami as better than +500 to win it all though

When Yao is on and when Sura was healthy, the Rockets were en-fuego, and can hang with anyone.

The Nugs since Karl arrived have ramped up, and the Bulls look on the verge of a franchise rebirth..both should be players in coming years, and may take a heavyweight the distance this year before a bowout?

Yet those lines say it all, as just like last year, there exists a "Big Four" and the field.

The futures are all about injuries right now. Seattle has two starters is cast boots.

I like the Rockets with the talk of Duncan being out for the year and the depleted Sonics. However, Juwan Howard isn't certain to be back for the first round either.

True WB and BD, the Sonics were looking as good as anyone to me in that first two months, but with Rashard hurt and their Euro in the shop, are just another "last possession team wins game" team as of now.

Miami is one of the Big Four, yet would've favored SA over them with a healthy Duncan(as at times Miami looks short one more impact player from sheer dominance), with Detroit either sandbagging or not quite as "geeked" as yet, and the Suns looking dangerous yet not completely sold on their defensive stop abaility in terms of the playoffs.

The thought of the NBA makes me jones for some 'Ning-Flyers or 'Ning-Flames really bad!

Suprised to see the Bulls as sixth? As blue has posted several times, a very nice play to win east.

Considering playoff basketball is a real grind and Bulls have a high number of young players, I'll say Miami (for sure), Detroit (most likely), and I now believe Boston (probably) beat Chicago in playoffs.

Shaq could become injured, Detroit has been playing poorly to say the least, and Boston has been erratic.

I'm along for the ride with blue and played Chicago to win East with the hefty take back price.

Indications both injured players will be back for Seattle by playoff time. I agree they aren't a first choice, but 34-1 is way too generous.

Only teams I worry about for the Suns are the Spurs and Mavericks. I am not even as worried about the Spurs as people probably think I should be, I just think we have more weapons than them and they will need a 100% Duncan to balance it out. The Mavericks scare me though. The only teams the Suns have trouble with are teams that play the running game and take advantage of our weakness on the boards. Dallas can hurt us. Thing is they looked locked into the Kings in round one and I don't think they match up with the Kings well. If Duncan isn't 100% and the Kings beat the Mavs the Suns are going to emerge from the West. Defense is important, but having so many weapons who can step up any given game is something that can offset the quality of defense played in the postseason IMO.

I like Sacramento a lot better now than before the Webber trade.

I was screaming about these odds two days when I got both Seattle and Houston at 50-1. Those numbers are now lower than the 50-1 they were.

44-1 is a bit to stout but...This team has been horribly inconsistant all season. Championship teams don't get there asses drilled by the Hornets at home.Yao is still to soft to carry a team deep into the playoffs, and T-Mac can't do it alone.
