Does rx back the books it advertize?

What safe guard does therx have for the players if a book stiff them or goes under?

TheRx is about endorsing advertisers yes, but there are no guarantees or insurance programs in place. The ownership is not comfortable with any insurance program currently. It is being discussed though. And if we decide to insure our sponsors, it will be a very substantial amount.

Thanks for the fast reponse.
You can set a limit
Pay up to 2000 per player and set the fund amount to $300,000(example only)This will keep you from going bankrupt

RX wouldn't do that.. too much liability.. aside from the fact that they'd have to be far more careful who they let advertise...

If the RX had to pay out of pocket for any problems with their advertisers I'd bet about 5 books up top would be told to take a hike

I think everybody should be thankful that the RX even exist. I dont know about alot of you but it has helped me tremendously. maybe everybody likes it better being in the blind, I know I dont, even though I usually hear alot of leaks about a book. Just for the record I dont brown nose anybody. be thankful and appreciate the RX is here.

knowing the way some posters are around here, that wouldnt make them happy either....

They would start in on Marty again, and want to know who is "insuring" him, or want to know who is "guaranteeing" the money that the rx is "guaranteeing"...

as General says that the owners are talking about it ..I do hope they offer it in the future it can only make this site better.....BUT even if they did I would change anything in the way I DECIDE MYSELF what books I post up and assume the Risk thereof its my responsiblity who I post up with...

but it would be very nice if the RX started an insurance policy

With 20,132 members you are talking major money if one goes under. It would also bring in thousands of more posters that just lurk. Not sure if thats the way to go IMO. It just wouldn't be be a poster and get your insurance back, more to it. You have to show your balance every week andthere will be alot of work involved for somebody! And if someone goes under and if you miss showing your balance and aren't entitled to a insrance refund there would be only problems here. Better the way it is IMO. Just stay with the big boys and you will be fine!
