your attempt at punishing me by suggesting I shouldn't play in your contests (which I rarely do.. only a few)

has struck some curiosity with me..

Why does RIO/Sky only offer these big contests at The RX ? You are an advertiser at MAJORWAGER as well.. yet Ive only seen a few small token conests over there... nothing compared to the RX..

PS (I know the answer) I just wanna see if you want to be honest or not.

You make a valid complaint and all of a sudden you are blacklisted from their contests and suspended from their site.

I know you could.. they have beat me twice so far ths tourney... Wisc-Mil and Louisville... I want to bet them tonight but I know theyll just burn me again

First of all, whether you want to participate or not, you are welcome to play in our contests in the future. Although I (we) felt your words were uncalled for, you are a valuable poster here, and you can play if you want. (Even though you feel that our contests and free half points are worthless.) As far as major wager is concerned, we have a nice relationship with them now. In terms of contests there, we felt that we got a better response at the RX. (Even though the response at the RX was somewhat marginal.) We did run Monday Night Football contests there last year, and we will continue this year if the posters show great interest. Please feel free to tell your friends over there to email mike@skybook.com to show their interest, and we will start back up over there today. In fact, we will do one for tonight's game right now. Thanks for your interest. In terms of your issues, please call 888 skybook and ask for Mike. I would really appreciate it if you would articulate all of your problems with Skybook so we can improve our service. Have a great day!

what is that I said about skybook that struck a nerve?

I said they are an average book, which they are. I said they arent top shelf and not bottom shelf either.. and that several are better.

I then said you cant cuss at a clerk...

then came your post pointing me out

what am I missing here? what did I say that was offensive or even untruthful ? also.. I NEVER said the half point is worthless.. please point that out for me.

I think that you misunderstood my words. I said you are an asset in terms of your posts, and that we were wrong to think of banning you from playing in the contests. I am simply a lowly shill who thought i was speaking on behalf of the upper management. They quickly made me understand that you were not rude or out of line, simply stating your opinion. The other guy tate who said Skybook ...:finger: . Well, he will NEVER play in any of our contests. Like I said, Assasin won a FREE 10k, and many others have won thousands in our contests. We simply decided that if people are going to attack us in a RUDE caustic way that they simply can't play in our contests. If people have the intelligence to criticize in a polite adult way, we have no issues. In fact, we are glad that people have criticized as this will only serve to make us try harder and be better than the status quo in the future. I over-reacted to your statement, and I am sorry for that. In terms of invitation only, that was another over-statement. EVERYONE is allowed to play as long as they conduct themselves in a way that they would like to be treated. Anyone who we feel is slandering or attacking like :finger: this, well, they can enjoy themselves, however, they will not be given the FREE shots that we will provide in the years to come.

Have no fear.....it's a team sport, and the Illini are the best team. And the talent level isn't that far off either.

We have done best at the RX. We have tried the line feeds and they haven't been as lucrative as we had previously thought. A lot of internet marketing is hit or miss. A lot of places we thought would elicit a huge response have been disappointing. We thought places like Covers would be great, but we didn't get much there. If you have some great ideas, we are all ears, just email mike@skybook, and perhaps you can put some $$$ in your pocket. Thanks for your question, and GL tonight on the game!!!:toast:

We actually did quite well with the 100% bonus. I know it sounds like a lot, but our mindset was basically lose a little money with the bonus in the hopes of bringing in people who have a great experience and are life long customers. We did it for relatively small money, so it didn't hurt a lot. Thanks again for your questions.
