I think NC should have slowed the pace when up 15. What do you think? About the 16 min mark in 2nd I believe.

Agreed for 2 reasons General. First, for Illinois had proven no lead was safe in Zona game. Second and most importantly, I had NC and unda!

General:

Believe that would have been out of character for the Tarheels and would have resulted in a short clock and poor shots being taken. That being said, there were times that some of the shots were ill advised and early in the possession. Going into a deep freeze with 16 minutes left is way too early in college hoops particularly the way the Illini were shooting 3 pointers opening the second half. Great game though.
