I had a prop at royal same wording but ACC verses Big 10. I took ACC and they cancelled the bet this morning.

This is not good. Hate to tangle with Pinny on interpretation of wording. Actually it is a push, as both teams made the Final. There is no further. Even worse, I had another ticket for a dime +1.08. Any mods around, General?

There is no next game, they did not advance or go further. They both made the Final. I tell you, this is interpretation. I read it like you RF, but I can see how you could say otherwise. Ambiguous at best.

Wow, I really think it's a push. They both "got" to to the championsip game. Seems to me that if they intended the winner of the game to be graded as a winner they would have worded it something like "Who will win more games in the NCAA Mens Tournament?" That would be perfectly simple and clear. I could only conclude that since they didn't word it that way then they must not have intended the same result.

As a disclaimer, I did not have any wagers on this prop.

Regardless of expectations, if you really interpret it just as it is written, I don't see how it is not a push. To me, furhter means -- the round of 32, the Sweet 16, the Elite 8, the Final Four and the Champ Game. They both made it to the the Championship Game. There are no more games so there is no "further" to "go". If they wanted the Champ Game winner to cash then why didn't they just say "Who will win more games in the NCAA Tourney?" That would have been crystal clear, and to my way of a thinking, given a different result.

Again I have no axe to grind as I don't have a penny on this. I'd say at the very least it is ambiguous.

It is bracket basketball, there is one final spot in all brackets for the champion. UNC advanced to that final spot.

Exactly, there is no further. The only advancement is to that last slot. But that is not what it says. I have enough on it to argue, but choose not to. Just seems unethical if I thought that I would lose if they did not win it all. But if you want to nitpick, you could argue both sides easily. It should have been worded, who will win most games, but it was cut and paste with conferences, and that is a complete different bet. I see where it went wrong.
