That takes the spirit out of it. No reason to go anymore since they ceased sales in the 7th anyhow. I was just getting in a good mode by 7th inning.

Anyone remember the classic 10-cent beer night incident at Cleveland Municipal Stadium..... Joe Tait, the current Cleveland Cavaliers radio play-by-play man was doing Indians games at the time. He was providing a blow-by-blow description of the drunks who took over the ball park. Classic stuff!!!!

Ah, the good ole days

Excellent move. If you have ever been around the neighborhood surrounding RFK you don't need drunken fans stirring the pot anymore than it already it is. I walked to RFK once from the Amtrak Station 25 years ago. I felt like a black man in Mississsippi during a KKK rally except reversed. If you saw the final scene in the movie The Gambler with James Caan you know what I mean. Not walking to RFK ever again.

Unless you are with a lot of people you want to be sober walking in that area. Journey can relate to this if he was in baltimore when the O's played in memorial stadium, RFK IS MUCH WORSE.

I made the mistake about 10 years ago of trying to get tickets to a Redskin game @ RFK, me and a friend when down and tried to buy tickets...they other two guys I was with had seats...so we tried to buy seats and COULDN'T! We were stuck outside RFK til the game ended...There IS NOTHING AROUND RFK !!!!

We ended up going across the highway to this old broken down low budget golf course clubhouse to watch the game....A bunch of old black guys , me and my buddy where a little out of place,lol...But we had no problems...thankfully!

Another time I went to a U2 concert at RFK , got there way early and decided to walk around the city to look for a place to eat....All we saw were korean corner grocery stores...didn't even realize how dangerous it was til we started walking and there was nothing around....ended up by a candy bar lol
