I attended the Red Sox/Yankees game on Sunday night and I left with a feeling that the Yanks are gonna do very well this year....

Over the past few years when everyone thought they would win the WS, I never did....not this year....gotta be the fave to win, IF they stay healthy.....

deep line up, good pitching......

Yankees are going to win at least 100 games this year. They look hungry and with that deep of a lineup, extremely scary. Yanks and Cards in the World Series.

Sherman- I had this debate w/my friend the other night.......

Is the excitement bigger this year w/ Unit and Pavano or was it bigger last year w/ AROD and Vazquez?

I made the case that last year was "bigger"

i hear ya, but it's ok to like chalk as long as you don't look for "credit" when they do win......i'm not even saying the yankees will definitely win the series this year, just that they have a better shot than they did the past couple of seasons.....

Clemens went to NY coming off back to back Cy young's (not to mention pitching triple crowns) and was a lock for 25, never close.

Mussina was still in top form going to NY. 20+ evey year! didn't happen.

Johnson will win 18-22 IF he stays healthy AND can handle the bronx zoo.

4-3 today after Bosox tied in top of ninth, but they should have put it out of reach long before then. It should have been an easy win like Sunday so I can see the comment.

I look for the Yankees to win it all, as well. This year has a different feel to it. Boston will fade. Talent and professionalism will prevail.

I'll go on limb, NYY make playoffs, may well lead division wire to wire, now that they are up 2 lousy games in April.
