I hate laying this big of a price and will hardly ever do it, but I jsut cant resist today. Maroth is a good young improving pitcher who had an ERA under 3.00 against the Royals last season. The Royals, in my opinion, have one of the 5 worst offensive lineups in the American league. Their pitcher today has his first start since elbow surgery in 2003. A huge question mark to say the least. On the other hand, the Tigers are going to surprise a lot of people this season. Love their offense with Pudge, Guillen, Pena, Young, and Ordonez. Also nice bullpen with Urbina and Percival. I will play the Tigers, but small, to win a half a unit. Good luck guys!

1-1 on the night games with a nice pup winner with Washington. However, this has got to be the most frustrating betting night in a long time for me. Let me start off by saying that the Marlins should have won that game tonight numerous times. They hit into 6 or 7 double plays and consistently left the leadoff man on base. They had every opportunity to win that game. I knew it was over though when they brought in that pig Nate Bump. He is possibly the worst relief pitcher in baseball. But the most frustrating part of my evening is the fact that I never played the Dodgers. This game stuck out to me from the get go last night and I even posted it in the Dog Winners For Wednesday Thread. So I am out all night at dinner for a friend's birthday and forget to call and place my wager on the Dodgers. Of course they are winning comfortably, 10-1 at the moment. I know that it is only one game and only a couple hundred bucks that I cost myself, but I am kicking myself hard in the ass right about now. YTD is now 4-3 +2.30 Units. I will post my plays for tomorrow early in the morning as I am leaving for Costa Rica for the weekend. :hump:
