Chicago White Sox -110 (Pinnacle)
I've picked up a definite public perception -- being stated on this board, other boards and in the betting % -- that the Tribe is a superior team to the Chisox. The services are feeding Cleveland to the masses again today because of the pitching matchup...or because of the belief that the Tribe is a "better team" and thus won't get swept. Last time I checked, Lee wasn't being nominated for the Hall of Fame yet either....yet 70% plus of bettors are on the Tribe. The history of this series has been one of momentum...and right now, the Sox have it and the Tribe do not.

I'm on it too. Momentum is huge in sports, and the White Sox can't possibly have more than they do now. Everyone on Mets today too, and that's not going well for the public either.

Learn from your mistakes. Lesson #1 of the season: Ozzie Guillen is the dumbest manager in baseball. You back the Sox you better get compensation for the fact you are backing an idiot in the dugout. I knew this last year but thought maybe he might have learned how to handle pitchers from all the mistakes he made last year. Nope. Using his entire bullpen in a game in which the Sox led the entire game is idiocy. THen bringing in his closer with a three run lead against a team that has always hit him hard is double lunacy. Any one of the five other pitchers he ran out there were better choices than Shingo in that situation. Games like this cause players to question the IQ of their manager....the first step to quitting on him.
