I found that last year Thursdays(getaway day) meant Roaddogs and Overs.
Don't have stats to back it up-but did you notice??

i do not have stats but i would think the get away theory is better suited after a few weeks of the reg season. at this point every team is travelling quite a bit considering the travel involved going from spring training to reg season destinations.

I like the LA pick; Weaver is talented, although I'm skeptical of that defense, especially since he throws a lot of ground balls. Have to go against you on the Oakland pick, though...Bedard has looked really good this spring and could emerge as a solid #2 or #3 this year, while Haren was anything but impressive. Ya never know though, right?

No, you are right, u never know....but i like Haren, and think the "real" Haren shows up during reg season....

Well Oakland finally busted through in the "pitchers duel" that i thought would happen, and put a 3 spot up in the 8th, for a 4-1 lead.....now the bullpen needs to hold em down....not an easy task against the o's lineup...
